New regulations around the safety of Solar PV systems came into place around the country in 2016. Dec 2016 brought about an Microinverters convert the DC power solar panels output to AC immediately underneath each panel, often referred to as AC Solar Panels. Micro Inverter systems avoid the need for high voltage DC cable runs, increasing safety for the homeowner.
If a string inverter system was invented today it would probably be deemed illegal due to the need for a high voltage cable run through your home.

NGSS installs only black anodised, marine grade, storm proof mounting systems. With strong attention to detail, our brackets are finished with black high quality end caps.
The mounting system will be exposed to many environmental conditions such as sun, wind, rainfall, heat waves, and hail during this time. If the mounting of the solar system fails, the entire system will cease to work properly and can become dangerous. High-quality solar PV brackets design is essential for a lasting solar system.
NGSS mounting systems connect solar panels to the roof, ground, or carport. It is designed to stay on the roof, ground or carport in excess of 25 years.
Low quality cables can lead to higher losses and less power delivered. These losses calculated over a 25 year lifespan can result in lower savings.
The Solar cable used for connecting the solar panels is required to work in harsh environments. Direct exposure to the sun’s heat and UV rays, rain, humidity, moss, dust, attack by termites and physical damages by rodents are all factors to be considered, as inferior cables can become dangerous over time.
NGSS uses premium quality, well manufactured solar cabling for a safer system that will last the life of your solar panels.
NGSS has access to live, real time monitoring of every panel. In the event of a fault, NGSS receives an automated message to alert us to the issue. In most cases, the firmware can be updated by technicians and the problem is fixed remotely. This can save you days of downtime and the frustration of having to call out a technician.
In the unlikely event that something goes wrong with one of the panels or micro inverters, the rest of the system that is unaffected will still be operational.
This allows for less down time, and allows you to continue to generate solar power during a warranty claim or service check.
Most conventional systems are wired in series using a central inverter. This means every panel will perform at the rate of the worst performing panel. Partial shade including bird droppings, tree branches, power-lines and chimneys can severely effect a conventional systems output.
